The sky was clear the sun was glistening on Monday the 10 of February. The water sparkled underneath the sun as the tide went out. As we walked across the burning ground 6d jumped on top of the hill sat down and rested their feet. We had a lovely Water Wise session for 6d at Howick Beach. The dazzling smell of fresh air i adored all so much. I was going to have a great day of Water Wise. All the smells just made me want to get started even more. As i walked down to the sandy golden beach,all the sand glistened against my feet. I just couldn't wait to get the day started.
Firstly i charged straight towards the shed at speed of light ,were our life jackets were waiting for us. As i was putting my life jacket on it got stuck round my neck and had to take it off again and then put my arm through first and then put my head through. The air smelt of horrible gutted fish but the cool breeze took it all away just like that. Straight away i heard the voice "everyone on the grass immediately! Mr Nicholls screeched. I froze... and ran to the grass at speed of lighting. Hearing Mr Nicholls speak really inspired me. I learnt all about different knots and different parts of a opti and all about safety when your out at sea and what happens if you capsize.
After our lovely morning tea 6d were ready to put up an opti. Firstly 6d got into groups of five and went to a opti, then we got all the parts together such as, Center Board, the Main Sheet and so on. First we put up the the sail then the the main sheet went through the wheels and then the figure of eight knot tied it secure and last of all my group put the center board in place. Mr Nicholls showed 6d how to do a figure of eight, it was easy. Lastly we packed up ready to go and have a swim. Once we had a swim we took off our life jackets, changed into our school uniform 6d waited for the waka van and parent helpers they were a awesome help. This was a awesome end to the school day.
I pick up the slippery hose. Slowly I creep towards the smoking house. The slivery hose drops straight on the ground. I walk into the musky lounge as I scourge the perimeter for survivors. All I can see is the light of my torch glistening in the distance. Anxiously I enter the stuffy bedroom. As I try to spot survivors I spot a kitten lying lifeless on the floor. I slowly pick up the kitten to save its life. Speeding out of the house, I knew there was no time to spare. I quickly rush to get the first aid kit and slowly put the oxygen mask onto the kitten wondering if it would live. I pick up a bottle of water and splash some ice cold water onto the kitten. It awoke in a cheerful mood. I was a champion I had saved a life.

Once upon a time in a fairy tale there was a beautiful young maiden with hair as long as the eye could see and eyes as sweet as candy she stood before a lovely gentlemen as he climbed up tower ready to strike….Standing in front of him was the prettiest girl he had ever seen and he new she was the one he had been looking for. She was as beautiful as an angel.
Once upon a time high in the sky there lived a giant course very thoughtful. The giant worked 7 hours a day as a receptionist and would get pretty angry after a long days work. At the bottom down below lived a young boy named jack who lived with his mother and was very poor.
One day the giant got very angry and needed his time out. Jack had sold a cow for 7 magic beans and he got a bit angry and threw them out the window were the cow use to live of course it doesn’t live there now. When jack awoke in the morning he found that the beanstalk had grown and decide to climb to the top.
Now me the giant woke up in a bit of mood to see all my cash and goods were getting taken bye some human I new I could smell something odd in the house. Right now I forget to tell you about my wife, she saw the human and let him go and with my cash and goods of course this was a devastation for me.
Jack decided to try again and steel my golden egg and for him luckily he did. Right now was getting pretty angry so I took a small break and as soon as you now it I was fast a sleep. I awoke to my magic harp screaming so I followed jack down the beanstalk.
Now when I reached jack he pulled out his axe and tried to chop down the beanstalk so I jumped on him and after that made him say sorry he was so frightened he said sorry and gave me back all my goods and I guess you could say we became friends and we all lived happily ever after.
